Broccoli & Gruyere Quiche

 6 Large Eggs

1 Cup of Heavy Cream

Salt

Pepper

Dash of Nutmeg

1 1/2 Cups Shredded Gruyere (Can also use Swiss)

1 Frozen Deep Dish Pre Made Pie Crust

2 cups Broccoli Florets (Or any other vegetable you like) (Spinach, Shredded Brussels Sprouts)

1 large Shallot Chopped

 

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375

 

  1. WHISK Together- Eggs, Cream , Salt, Pepper and Nutmeg SET ASIDE
  2. Sauté till tender- Broccoli and Shallots in some olive oil and add some chopped garlic 
  3. Pour broccoli sauté in to the bottom of the pie crust
  4. Top with shredded cheese
  5. Pour over the egg mixture till shell is full but not too full
  6. Make sure you have your quiche on a foil lined baking sheet
  7. BAKE for 45 minutes (If it is getting too brown just cover with foil until quiche is firm to touch.
